2006 Dances With Films International Festival
SIGNED IN BLOOD introduces OSWALD DUKE, a film school graduate, and NATHAN DUKE, two brothers who are desperately attempting to shoot their freshly penned horror script. Along the way, they secure a lead actress, SHAWNA DeCERT, a famous star who spends most of her time in rehab. Unable to secure funds, they borrow money from a menacing drug lord, but are quickly swindled out of everything at the equipment rental house. Left with nothing, they are forced to execute reckless acts to save their lives. Desperation causes Oswald to launch an absurd plan that leads to a bizarre chain of events, entangled with an eclectic collection of psychotic characters. As the mistakes mount, nerves fray and it isn’t long before LIFE starts to imitate ART.
